Boy What A Trip

Well we got their at about 3:00 at the hotel we had a nice place to stay forf the Camp. Our kid's were great as far as getting along and behaving. I think it was Thursday before worship they had a group of kid's to either spit are use a water gun on a watier's head because the way the rooms werer we were able to see out over the hotel. That was the only bad thing we had to happen of course our kid's are always good when we are out of town. During the day when they were in class I would go and take a nap while they were busy and they stayed busy all the time. Friday night we went to a hokey . It brought back old time's when we use to go before I had been I thought he was going to be born at the ice hokey game's. After we finised we adults got to go back to the room and I enjoyed that part very much. It gave me some alone time and a chance to get a shower before the girl's got back to the room. In my room I had Emily,Brew,and Ashley. This was a challange sometime's because if she was not in the room at the same time they were they would say this is not fair. But I always new where she was there was other people at the camp that she new and she was in the room with them. Saturday night we went shopping with the kid's during our free time that we had and this was fun. When we had free time we could do other thing's so long as we got back for supper and in time for them to go to the devo classes. Well on Sunday morning I had to get maintance to come to out room the girl's could not get into the safe to get there thing's out. The funniest thing that was in the safe was Emily under garment's and some clothing to wear. I ask her why she did that and she said I did not want anyone to get them and told her she could have put them on the table. Then I went down to the worship but I missed the Lord Supper. After the Worship service we got ready to go home on the way back to the bldg. on the church bus Jazz had some Trix. Thomas went to sleep and Jazz took some of her Trix and put them down in the back of his pant's. He got up as we got off the free way and stood up and the Trix fell out onto the floor and that was so funny. Jazz said that is why you do not go to sleep on the bus, you never know what wil happen. But everyone had a great time and enjoyed themselves and the food was great. Well I hope everyone has a Great Happy New Year and I the Tiger fans are going to be as happy as I am. ROLL RIDE

Christmas is over and Trip 12-27

Well Christmas was great it was just to busy around here. Sunday started off bad when Grandmother had to go to the hospital because she was bleeding real bad. They had to give her 4 pint's of blood and she was in sicu for 2 days. Now she is in a room and she is still very weak. The Dr's have not said yet when she can come home. Then Monday night we got together at the house and open gift's and that was fun. Alissa was the most excited because she got the most present's. There was one gift we made her open last because it was something she wanted most of all and that was from Joe. I fixed her up well she had to work for this gift because this was something she wanted so bad. When she got to the bottom and found the gift she opened it up and went over to Jo Jo and gave him a big hug it was a Ninetdo DS. That was one of the thing's that she wanted off her list she had made. Ben and Rachel got her some joke book's she loves to tell joke's. We got her a jewerly box, High School game,movie's,Hannah Montano stuff, High School Musical PJ's,and there was some under wear in the box with a movie and she would not take those she just said Nana you are carzy. But that is what Nana's are for is to suprise with you with just about anything. On Tuesday we went over to Grandmother's to eat and then up to my Mom's house but we did not eat much their. Today my Mom had to go to the Dr she is sick she had problems breathing last night so she had to go and see the Dr at 9:15 I hope thing's go well with her. Robin is doing ok she is real tired from the radaition treament's she is having she said that was normal. She said that they called her Wed. and told her thing's were going good for her. Well today I am leaving and going with the youth to Huntsville I can not wait to go. I hope the young kid's can handle me because you know how I can get sometime's. I just can get silly sometime's around the as Alissa say's Nana you are funny but I love you. Well take care and May God Bless Everyone.

Christmas is Almost Here 12-22

I can not belive that Christmas is almost here it seems like it came to fast. Once December came in it flew by and now we have only 3 more day's until Christmas Day. Last night we went to eat with April,Jason and Alissa at Bento's in Gardendale and it was good. We had so much fun just watching the guy fix the food. We sat with two very nice people but his wife drank wine and he drank a few beer's that was the only thing bad. Other wise they were very nice people and they had a daughter 22 and her name was Alissa,she said that was the only way she new how to spell her name at that time now she is like us we learned that it is spelled Alyssa. But that is ok different is good you just can not find anything with her name spelled the way it is. Joe had to go into work at 8:00 so we enjoyed the evening by oursleves it was different. Well I have to say I went to my Dad's party at the day care and it was just like being with a bunch of young kids. They had fixed finger foods for them to eat and they had egg nog to drink. The ladies just love my Dad they call him Mr. Houston and he would just smile when they said that. One lady name Nancy told me that she gave Dad some cake and he ate that and then someone else ask him did he want a pieces and he said yes. I came in and he was sitting in the corner eating and I ask him if he had been bad and he said I guess so . Your could just look at the people and tell that there was something wrong with each and everyone of them. Brenda the lady that is over the day care put some music on and Dad started swinging in his chair and that got people laughing and smileing. Then they opened there present's and they all had a good time. I thought we had it bad until I was talking to one man's wife and she told me that her husband washed his hand's in the toilet no matter what was in the toilet. She has him all by herself because she has no one to help her at all. Well I have said enough at this time everyone have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I just get to rambling on an on and don't know when to quit.

Eight More Day's Until Christmas 12-18

Well only eight more days until Christmas time has went by so fast it does not seem like it should that many more day's until Christmas. I have got 3 more present's to buy and I will be done but I know what I am getting so that won't be hard to do. Well we are getting together Christmas Eve at our house to open gift's, eat of course could not do with out food. Last Friday night Alissa and Emily stayed at the house they had a great time and I did to. We played with lego's and built thing's and that was alot of fun. Friday I took Alissa to see Grandmother and the nurse came by to check on her and she ask how was your kidney's? Alissa said what is a kidney Nana and I said I will have to think about that one. But she never did ask again so I did not have to worry what to say to her. Kent has been working on Grandmother's floor putting down the hard wood before Christmas. I told him you better get busy Christmas will be here before you know it. Grandmother has a flat screen TV in her room and that is nice. When I was over there on Friday before I went and got Alissa from school . We were setting at the table I had took her one of those bucket of popcorn and she wanted some of the popcorn so the Patty gave her some. She got some down the wrong way and Patty stated patting her on the back and she said I am alright . But the look on her face said it all,she also said Ms Betty we need to put you house shoes on and she gave the same look. But Patty said I am not going to let you fall on my watch,that was so funny to me. Well Robin is doing ok with her treament she is real tired when she goes and comes home. Well I have to go to Mom's and get Dad to take a bath he has not had one in four day's so I think it is time don't you all agree. Take care and May God Bless and Merry Christmas.

Is EveryOne Ready For The Holiday

Well Christmas is just around the corner are we ready for all the smile's,laughter,HO HO and Merry Christmas to all. We have all but 3 present's left to buy and we will be done shopping. I well be happy when Christmas get's here I always like to watch the little one's open there present's. They are what Christmas is about watching them opena the present's and see the look's on their face's. My brother can not wait until we finish with his tree there has been so many thing's going on that we have not got it finisned yet. But we are going to try tonight and finish decorating the tree for him. Well Kent and I went to Alissa school last night and watch her Christmas program and it was so good. They did a play about the Polar Express the kid's had speaking part's and some played instrument's,some sang. It was a very good program it lasted about and hour and half so that was not bad at all. Well today Dad went to day care and I had to take Mom to the Dr with her foot. They put a shot in her heal she had an infection in her heal and that is why she was having problem's walking. Joe is working 7pm to 7am now he will be at church tonight he has a bad working house and he does not like them. I told him sometimes it remind's me of him working at Walmat because he did not like his working hour's. Well Robin starts her treaments Thrusday of this week I thought she was going to start on Monday of this week and she did not start. She had to get her medicine and it was 600.00 dollars and they can make payment's of 100.00 dollars a month until they pay it off. Well take care everyone and May God Bless. Robin and Christmas almost Here 12-06

Well Wed. I went with Robin to the Dr and eveeything is still the same. She start's her treaments on Monday for thirty day's and the off and they will do another MRI. When she saw the Dr she was all smile's and said I am going to beat this with all my might I have to many thing's ahead of me to do. The Dr was happy to see that and he said move around for me and she did she flaped her arms like they were wings and she walked good for him. So he was happy with her progess and she goes back in three week's to see him again. Well on a happy note it is almost Christmas time and I can not wait I love Christmas time and so does my brother he likes all the little animals that make music. I got him one yesterday from cracker barrell and it sings the Shout his ear's go up and down. I have six gifts under my tree four are Alissa and two are Kent's I have to get busy on my Christmas List. It is only three more week's until Christmas. Well Grand mother did not get to come home today I don't know when she will be home she started having problems breathing so they changed their mind's again. Miles is painting the living room the color of mine and he is going to put in hard wood floors in the living room. So this will be nice for her and she also has a flat screen TV in her room now. Robin and The Weekend 12-04

Well last weekend we took supper to Robin's house and she was in pretty good sprit's. Bill and the rest of the guy's watch the Tennessee and LSU game and ladies talked up in the living room and Dwight. My Aunt came in from Florida to see Robin and spent a couple of day's with Mom and think that helped her alot. We even joked around with Robin and feed her from a spoon because she was not eating much and that was alot of fun. The boy's did not have much to say and Bill talk to Kent and I both. He is in a state of shock just like everyone is Wed she goes and get's her sitches out. Me and Joe are going with her she ask us to,she called me at 7:00 o'clock crying today. I just told her she was going to have to stay busy and keep herself doing thing's so maybe that will help her alot. Well today I spent the day with my parent's and brother we went to Walgreen and Walmart. My Dad is just acting stranger every day I am not sure what is going on with him and we may never know. I am calling the Dr Thursday and see what he think's and tell him about my sister and see if we need to tell Dad everything. Because he does not know yet as far as I know but he knows something is going on by the way we all are talking at time's. My other two sister's have been getting bter about thing's since all of this has taken place. Patsy brought my Mom a north fork pine a small one that is. She has got her something for Christmas this year too. I hope this is the being of thing's getting better but the other two granddaughter's have not came around yet. But I still keep praying that they will come back around soon. I am going to aunt again beside Gayla, Angie which is my oldest sister's youngest is having a baby. Well I guess I had better go Wed is going to be a long day for me so keep praying for us we have a long way to go as the song say's that a country singer sing's. I hope I will be a Nana soon by some one right now I will claim the babies at Church. ROLL TIDE !
