I am Feeling Better Some What\ And Other Things

Well I am feeling so what better today,I think as the week goes it will get better. My face is still brused up but not swallon up like it was. I am going to come to church Wed night I can not see much because I need my glasses. Daryl is working on that for me and he knows how bad I need them. My Mom told me today I was going to have to get my glasses were I can help her take the car back to the garage and be work on again. My younger Sis will not help Mom at all with anything not even getting the meds that they need and this is not good. So my Mom has to wait on me to come up to her house and call the meds in. So I am going to walk up to her house Wed. and call them in for her. Kent had to get them some milk yesterday because Melissa would not go and get it for them. They have done so much for her I don't understand why she is like she is. I had to call several Dr's yesterday and cancel appts' and make new ones. But this is one of those things I am going to have to put this some where in my heart are in the back of my mind with all the rest of my worries. Robin will hear from her MRI on Friday that she had done on Monday. I hope and pray that things go well for her. So keep use in your prayers that things will go well. I went to this shop out in Pleasant Grove across from CVS last week and brought a pack play, and a bouncer seat. April seen it before we left to go down to Oak Mt. she said Mom is this mine and I told her no this stays at Nana's house for when the baby comes over. She said the baby is not going to stay all night and I said I know. But she was just kidding when she said that I hope. Then today she said what I am going to do with Alissa when she gets out of school I said she can stay with Nana she said no not all the time on count of gas. So I guess I will just have to wait and see how things work out. Gas is getting unreal for everyone I don't know what people are going to do between gas and food. Things keep going up but your pay check stay's the same so it makes it hard to live. WE are having a garden to help us out on our food and if we could get a cow we would be doing great. Our Trip\The Good and The Bad

Well the trip to Oak Mt started out good and we were having a lot of fun putting the trailer up and making up beds. Thursday night when we got most of the things set up we were all tired so when we got things to where we could take a shower and go to bed,we went and got one. On Friday morning Kent went to work and Alissa and I were at Oak Mt. by our selves. We ate braeakfast and went to the store and paid for the next two nights. While we were at the store we got a icecream and they were very good. We walke around for a little bit and then we went back to the trail and rested for awhile. A coupel hours later we went back for another walk to find the park for Alissa to play on the swing set, slide,and a couple of other things. Then we grilled out and let Alissa open her birthday gifrt from Nana and Papa. Alissa loved the gift it was a docking station for Ipod. Well on Sta. was Ben and the office party they girlled out and had a great time.The weather was good it rained some but not much it rained Saturday night into some of Sunday morning. Well on Friday night I was trying to act like a little kid again andI was running April said you neeed to quit running before you fall and get hurt I did not listen to April. So she had no more got the words out of her mother when boom I hit the ground. Alissa said I am sorry Nana I made you run and fall,I told her it was ok I am going to be OK. I had to go to the Er at Shelby and they check me out and said everything is ok expect for bruies. I had a fractured nose and a cut on my noise . Things could have been worse for me ,thye aslo said I mighht have to have surgery But other wise everything was good May God Bless All

Well I thought this was a cute poem to add to my blog because everyone else you try to get quite and then the baby does get noisey. Well I am leaving as soon as we get loaded up in the van and I can not wait this will give so of those crazy people a chance to get off the road. Well Joe will be home by his self he has finals this week so he will be here. Joe is leaving for school and Kent said are you going to get Educated now that sounds like a southern person are someone who never went to school at all. Well today my Mom got her car back from the shop and when she got it home she could not get it to go in drive so I called Joe and they finally got it in her yard. Now she has to take it back because it was not like that when she took it in so they mess up the gears when they moved it. Well everyone take care see you all Sunday Night. May God Bless

Well Today We Found Out When the Baby Is DUE

We know now when the baby is coming it is due Dec. 2nd that means she is 2mos. When she goes back at 20 weeks we will find out what the baby is. I am happy now at lest we have a date now I can tell people when they ask me when she is due. Then I took my Mom today to take her car to the shop and we went back to get it and it was not ready. So we went to the pig in Forestdale to gets some hambuger buns and meat for supper to girl out. While we were in the store a black man came up to us and ask for some money and all I had was my debt card and Mom said no. Then I watch him because I did not trust the look on his face after we said no. We check out and went to my van and her keys were missing,she kept them hooked on the side of her purse with a little bear and the keys hang inside her purse. So when we got to the van her keys were gone we think the black man took them off her purse because she looked every where for them. I watch the man and he would ask white women for money and a couple of black men for money. Then he went back to his car where their was a black man setting in the car wating on him he was working the outside people for money I watch him do it. While the other man went into family dollar and started working people. So it made me nerves so I called the county and they came and talk with them and searched the car and sent them on there way down then road. So be careful when you are out in Forestdale are anywhere. You never know what people are up to when they ask you for money. My brother loves riding in my van he calls it Kents van,he want to go with us to Oak Mt. but I know Mom won't let him. Well we will be leaving on Thursday and coming back on Sunday I am going to enjoy getting away for a couple of days I think Kent will to. Well take care and May God Bless Everyone.

My Weekend So Far\My Issue

Well so far our weekend has been ok yesterday we went to the fire station for awards day and BQ and a special guest was the rescue dogs from Walker County. We had a great day Joseph got a certificate for the most calls answerd for the year 2007. I took some pictures of it all he had got off from work at 8:00 and we had to be at the station at 11:30 so he was just walking in his sleep. Well after we ate we went for a ride in the fire truck that was a lot of fun me being short it was hard to get in and out of the fire truck. It was neat riding and looking out and seeing things Kent got to ring the bell on the fire truck and he enjoyed that very much. We left about two and came home Kent worked of Aprils car for awhile I work in my house finish cleaning up in my house. Before I knew it was six o'clock and we went to eat at Marlins and then we cleaned the church bldg and came home. Then we got up this mornig and went to church Joseph came in at 8:00 this morning so that is why he was not at church this morning. This morning at church Kevin and Gayla were there with the babies I got the little one and held him during church he is so cute and sweet. Then I had to go forward I have some many things on my mind they all just built up on Kent and I both so I felt like I needed to do this. I have just had so many things on me between Mom and Dad,my Sis and Grandmother,family issue that I just felt like Kent and I needed to come forward and ask for the Church prayers and keep us in your thoughts that things will work out Ok for us all. You know life can get full sometimes with problems and when something like Grandmother passing away it all comes down on I am going to have to find a place and put it all so so many things won't bother me. It may take me awhile to do this but I am going to do my best. Well Kent is setting beside me snoring away boy does it get loud. Joe is in bed and cookie is asleep I am the only awake around here right now. But that is the way it boes sometimes I don't do naps much on Sunday afternoon.

Well Friday is going to good real good. Dad will be at day care and Mom,Dwight,Alissa and I are going to go off for the day and have a good time. When Dad is at Day care we go off and enjoy ourselves so much. Alissa is out of school for a bad weather day so she is staying at our house tonight. She went on a field trip today and April went with here they had a good day of hiking and walking she said. They came to the house to eat we had crowder peas,corn,mash potatoes, pork roast and corn bread boy was it good. April and them are getting ready to go off camping this weekend with there church they are campig in tents at Tannehill I think they are going to have a good time. They will be back Sunday, they are having church before they come home on Sunday. Alissa is excited about going camping in a Tent she has never camped in a tent. They will have no electric all they will have will be camp fire and lanterns. So the will be neat for them I know they will have fun. Well I just heard on the news it may rain so they may not have good weather to camp by. Well we are going camping next weekend we are leaving Thursday and stayting until Sunday at Oak Mountain and I can not wait to go we need a break. Beside I am ready to go camping it has been so pretty some days just chilly at night and I can handle that. Well I need to get off and go get a bath and get ready for bed. Alissa got her bath and she is ready for bed she might go to sleep early because she is so tired we will see. Oh the walkfest is

Things are getting So Better and Back to Normal Somewhat

We are getting back to Normal around here slowly but surely. Kent is back at work after being off for a couple of days. I told him it was hard being home without him I was so use to wakeing up with him here. Joe went back to school and work so it has been just me and the Cookie Monster here around the house. The phone has started ringing again like normal with things that Dad is doing are not doing. Yesterday I had to go to Moms and get him to take a bath,shave and I had to wash his hair,cut his finger nails for him. But today he is at Day Care Joe took him for me so we have a nice day going on today. The rest of my week is not going to be to busy I have to take Dad to the Dr Thursday. I at first thought I was going to be busy the rest of the week with Dr appts and my parents so the Dr office cancled some of the appts and made them for another day so that was good for me. I talk with Gayla today and they are doing ok we are talking about going camping next Thursday at Oak Mountain and I hope the weather plays out good for us so we can. Then April called me form work and they are all doing good. Joe is so funny when he gets around April he will bend down and start talking to her tummy and she will say Mom make him stop. It is just to funny watching all of this take place I can not help but laugh. Well I have not heard from Ben yet but he stays so busy and out where there is no cell towers and that does not help him either. Well everyone taka care and May God Bless you all.

We had a great and wonderful Grandmother whom everyone loved very much she will be missed by all. But she is where she has wanted to be for a long time in heaven under neath that shade tree with Papa singing those old songs again and again. She is with old friends and family that have gone on before her. Well this is my last goodbye to the person whom I loved and shared a lot with while she was with us. It will take me awhile to get use to her not being across the street from us and being able to just walk over and see her also talk with her. Well I will close because I have said enough May God Bless all and we all would like to say thanks for all the help,prayers,food and thoughts during our time of need.

We Love Our Grandmother Very Much and She Will be Missed

Well the past couple of days have been tuff for all but we are doing ok. Last night Kent was taking music of of cassett tape that his Dad was singing on and I just could not take it the music and hearing Papa voice sing the song made me sad and I just cried. Then he found one where his Mom and Dad were singing together and that was not any better. Then we had to do the picture frame and that was even worse just seeing the old pictures of them. Kent and them parents met so much to me they both were very special to me I loved them so much. I always called her Grandmother and him Papa I never called them by name. I still can see the smile on Papa face and Grandmother's they were very special. Today Alissa came to the house because when April told her about her Grandmother she could not sleep so she came to the house instead of going to school. While she was at the house we went outside and she got to talking to me and she said Nana will I ever see Grandmother again I said yes when you get to Heaven you will see her again. She said I feel sorry for Papa because he does not have a Mom are Dad. Then she said I want to make her a card she went to her room and made a card for Grandmother. She wrote in it and said Grandmother I will miss you and your smile then she wrote other things in it to she took a picture of herself in it and laid it with her Grandmother. Then Joseph wanted to put some of his badges in with her it was his EMT from Bevill State she was so proud of Joe. He went to see her the other day and she told Miles I had this good looking young man to come and see me and it was Joseph she had not seen him in awhile he has lost a lot of weight. We had a lot of friend and family to come tonight and see Grandmother she was so well loved and thought of. She will be missed very much. It is going to be hard living in my house and waking up everyday and looking across the street and seeing her house. It will always be Grandmother's house to me but I will miss seeing her there all the time. But she is in a better place then we are and she is up in Heaven with that wonderful man name Papa. Today is a Sad Day at My House

Grandmother went to the hospital last night at 11:00 last night she was not feeling well. Well about 3:00 Kent called me and said it is not good at all. Well Daryl came by to get me and before we got to St Vincent she had passed away. I could not belive this or I did not want to because Sunday she was in a good mood talking about how she could not wait to get out of the nursing home and go to her house. I told her that is what we want you to do is come home so we can come over to your house instead of the nursing home. Well I know that she will be missed greatly by everyone she was such a good person. We all loved her so much I wanted her to around for ever. Two of the sports she liked most of all was Braves baseball,Alabama football, Kent alwasy made her a Braves sheet with the games on it so she would not miss a one. She loved all her kids and grandkis,great great grandkids to. I wsh she could have stayed with us forever I did not want her to go and no one else did either. But she is Heaven with that great man that she was married to that Papa I can just see her smiling at him now saying Teamus here I am I have been waiting to see you for a long time. We don't have to worry about her being sick anymore because in Heaven there is no more sickness. Now there is the arragments that have to be made next to someone dying I think this is another hard thing to do because this makes things so final. So keep us all in your prayers as we go through this. We love all of you very much. The hardest thing in life is to give someone up are it is for me.

The Past Couple of Days \ With a Little More

Well the past two days have been good for me and Mom Dad has been at day care and that has been great for us. Wed night I had to go to Mom's to get Dad to take a bath he would not take one for Mom. When I got up to Moms she had his clothes together for him so we got him to shave first. Then after we ate supper I had him to get a bath I had to get his boxer's and tshirt put them in the bathroom so he would not come out with nothing on,he has come out with nothing on before and that is some more site. Well it took him about an hour an half to get his bath that is with my Mom telling him how to bath himself. Well Thursday Me and my Mom ,Dwight went to Freds and the new grocery store that opened up beside Freds. My brother enjoyed his self so much he talked all the way through both stores. My Mom would tell him to be quite and he would for a few minutes then he would start talking again. Dwight enjoyed getting out of the house we had to look at everything on each shelf he would tell Mom what he wanted. I could not help but laugh at him. Then we went and got Dad from Day Care and then Dwight started with Dad saying he hit me I told him I see Dad he did not touch you. It is like two little kids when they are in the car together neither one can look at the other. But looking at my Dad he is here but just in another world and it is sad when you see one of your parents like this. It just breaks my heart because I know that is not my Dad. I told him April was going to have him another Great Great Grandchild and he said that is good. Well April goes to the Dr next week and finds out when she is due and I can not wait. I have been looking at baby stuff already I can not wait until I can buy somethings. Well the weather is suppose to get bad after while I am not looking forward to that if it would just rain that would be ok but the other stuff could stay away. Well Rachel is going out of town with her Mother this weekend and Ben is coming over Sat. I am going to get Kent to fix some ribs. Well April if you read this you all can come over for ribs to.
