Up Date on Robin 11-30

Well the news we got today was not good Robin has cancer and she has to take Radation and Cemo by tablet form. She called me at the Drs office and I had to leave and I called Kent and he called David to go with me to tell Mom the new's I did not know how else to do what I needed to do. It worked out better for me. Well I went in the house first my Mom was cooking breakfast and my brother was already eating. Dad was at Day Care thank goodness for that because we have not told him yet. Mom could not belive what we were saying she said I can not belive this and I was in shock I don't think it has set in for anyone really. They took Robin down where she would be getting her teatment she has to take them for six week's and the chemo pill and the off for 30 day's and they will check her and see how thing's are. She told the Dr she was going to fight this and they told her no they were going to try and control the cancer. She goes home Sat. they are going to tell the boy's then. I told her to be strong and have faith and pray to the Lord that things will be alright for her and her family. This is just alot for all of us to take in I just want thing's to be alright and I am going to Pray that it will all be ok. So everyone keeps us all in your prayer's and thoughts. May God Bless All and Thank you all so Much for Everything.

Update on Robin 11-28-07

Well today was a better day for all Robin came out of ICU she went into a room 606 she like's that much better. We have not got the lab results back yet that should be either Thursday or Friday and she will come home either Sat. or Sunday. She is doing great the Dr said today and that is good news she can move her arms and her legs real well also she got her hearing back in her ear. Her ear had gotten where should could not hear out of it the Dr said it was because of the tumor. They are going to take her off her seizure medicine because she does not need it any more so this is good. Also he told her this could make her headache not as bad as they have been in the past. She has a pretty good size place on the left side of her head where they went in at. They shaved her head but not much of her hair is gone just on the left side starting above the ear and about midddle ways of her head. Grandmother is still in the hospital she has got fluid built up around her lung's so they are working on that now. But I rather she be better then get her home and have to take her back. Well it has been a long week for me so far. My Dad goes to day care tommorrow and Mom ,myself will be happy for the whole day. We have go to get thing's up at her house for Christmas. Well I am going to try and come to church Sunday again I am hopeing I can make. So keep us all in you prayer's that everything will be all right with the test results. May God Bless all.

Update on Robin

Well today went well for Robin on her surgery they took out a tumor and sent it to the lab to check it out. She may have to have radiation if thing's do not come back ok and cemo in a tablet form but I think everything will come back fine. She is doing fine everything is going good for her right now and she will go in a room Wed. if things go well during the night. I am going to stay with her during the day Wed. Bill has to go to work Wed. He will be back up their on Friday to stay with her the Dr said she would be in the hospital about a week if everything went ok. It has been a stress full day for everyone. My oldest sister did not come up to the hospital she sent her husband when he found out how Robin was he just left and did not say anything to anyone they just act to strange so hard to know what is going on with them. Well I am tired I just wanted to let everyone know how things were and I want to say thank's for all the prayer's that was said for my sister and my family. There is nothing like a church family it is so important to have a church family and a great preacher to go along with the church. Thanks so much David for coming to the hospital that was very much appreciated and needed. May God Bless All. Thank's Phyllis

My Day Today

Today I got up slow but I new I needed to go to church so I got dress Kent stayed home with me to bring me. We got in the van and we talk on the way and I was fine. But when I got to church and someone ask me how I was and gave the sheet of paper with what was going to happen to Robin. It all finally hit like a ton of brick's and then I saw David and he said good to see you hear today I just could not stay at church any longer. I know I have not been their much but it is not because I don't want to be there is just so much going on in my life right now. I have been trying to hold up good here since their is so much going on. But today I think it all hit me what was going on and what was going to happen Tuesday. It is just to much for one person to have to do alone. I am sure everyone has been through this at one time or another. Where you just don't know what to do so you just do what you can. Well on that note I did watch the game some but I new who was going to win because the way the team played last weekend. But Alabama has beat Auburn nine time's in a row befor so I guess it is the Tiger's turn. But maybe next year Bama will come back and be there selves and win some more game's at least more then this year. Well everyone take care and May God Bless and keep us all in you prayer's that things will go fine for Robin on Tuesday.

11-22 to 11-27 T-Day and Robin Update

Well this has been a week I would love to forget. Thing's have not went well at all and that is not good. We found out that Robin is going to have brain surgery next Tuesday at 7:15 at St. Vincent Hospital. She has 5 blood spot's on the left side of her brain two is bleeding a little and the other three well they have to wait until they get inside to see what to do. Wed. Bill Dad had open heart surgery and he is doing fine. We need all the pray's that we can get for Robin and our family. They told her everything was going to be fine. She is in great health as far as everything else so this is good. She has headache's all the time and that is due to the blood spot's that are on her brain. If you all miss me at church that is where I will be if I am not with her I will be with my parent's. It is tuff being the only one that help's out with thing's need to be done. Because Robin husband has to work and the boy's will be back in school. I am having problems of my own and my Dr is working on those problems that I have. But it is just hard to deal with I would have never thought this would happen to my sister. If my other sister's would help out some it would not be so hard on me. They say it is my job to do it all for my parent's you ask them to do thing's they just get mad.One day they will hate the day they did not try to help out some. But we had a good Turkey Day at my Mom's house not everyone was at her house. My oldest sister and her kid's and grand kid's were not at my Mom's house. Christmas will be the same as today was at my Mom's. Grandmother is still in the hospital and she is coming home on Friday. We had Turkey Day a Becky's house and everyone was at her house and we had a good time and made picture's. The food was great at both place's. Friday I am putting up my Christmas tree and I can not wait I am ready to do that,so is my brother. Well see everyone on Sunday and I hope Alabama win's on Sat. but if they play like they did last Sat they will not win at all. So Roll Tide Roll and May God Bless. Friday Alissa is going to help me put my tree up and Emily.

What Money Can't Buy

Money can buy a house but not a home.
Money can buy a bed but not sleep.
Money can buy a clock but not time.
Money can buy position but not respect.
Money can buy a book but not knowledge.
Money can buy blood but not life.
Money can buy companions but no friends.
Money can buy medicine but not health.
Money can buy insurance but not safety.

This came out of House to House Jacksonville Church of Christ.

Special Dog
A minister delivered a sermon in ten minutes one Sunday morning, which was about a third the usual length of his sermons. He explained, I regret to inform you that my dog who is very fond of eating paper, ate that portion of my sermon which I was unable to deliver this morning.
After the service, a visitor from another church shook hands with the preacher and said, Preacher if that dog of yours has any pups, I want to get one to give to my minister.

I thought I had lost a neckles while we were on vacation we had looked all over the house we stayed in and never found the neckles. Well Alissa called me and said Nana guess what I found I said what? She said I found your neckles in my suite case I was so happy. She said Nana I will mail it to you and I said no I will get it Sunday. I told her if she mailed it someone might get it. She said not if I put my spit on it they won't get the neckles. I thought that was so funny, so I am happy she found my neckles. Well eveyone have a great rest of the week and weekend. Roll Tide Roll

Weekend In the Montains and Update on Robin

Well we went to the Mountains on Friday and had a great time we came on Monday. We stayed in a very pretty house. It had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, hot tub, pool table, we enjoyed it all. We went shopping on Saturday and is was so crowed you could not hardly fined a place to park. We seen some Christmas lights they still had a lot of their fall things out to. But we still had a great time I am so tired and hurt so bad but it was still nice to get away for awhile. When we came home on Monday we went through North Caroline wanting to see some Indians but we did not see any. I had told Alissa she would see some so that was not good. But she got to see the Bears that were there in some cages and she liked that. Well when we got home April had supper ready and that was nice becuase I was not looking forward to that . Alissa gave them there gift she brought her Mom and Dad. Which was the Best Mom and Best Dad award ribbions. After they got through eating they left and Alissa told us that she had a good time and she loved us very much. I talk to Robin when I got home and she had an MRI done and they found a spot on her brain and they are not sure what it is so she has to go back in 4 weeks for another MRI to recheck again. Then she told me her father-in-law was not doing good at all they sent him home on Wed. of last week. They are going to have to do surgery on him but they are not sure about the surgery at all because he is so weak . She said they may have to do the surgery this week so keep both of the in your prayer's. Well Alabama lost and so did Auburn I wonder who will win the Iron Bowl I hope Alabama but you never know until they play since neither team had a good year this year. Well Roll Tide Roll and May God Bless All.

A Little Something Extra

Today I found out that I hurt my hubbies foot. I bump it with my little toe I did not think I hurt it that bad. But today he told me he could not hardly walk on his foot so he is playing it for all it is worth. He told everyone that I hurt him even at work and he told his Mom,Becky,Miles and when he got home he showed it to Joe. Joe said I would not put it past you that you would not hurt him. It has a bruse on the top of his foot and you can tell it has been hit. But I did not think I hit his foot that hard, after it all it was just a little bump with my little toe. So Tuesday he is going to wear his tennis shoes to work so his foot won't hurt when he walks. Just thought I would add something a little extra.

This Past Weekend and This Week to Come 11-05

Well over the weekend I was not happy about the game but I wish we could have won but we did not. Well we kept Auburn out of the championship game and that is good. I was at the pagnet watching Rachel and that was fun she got Ms Beauty and Emily early got 1st alternate I was so proud of them. My Dad had a bad weekend he is just drifting away from us more and more each day. The lady at the Day Care said he is not acting not he did when he first came to day care. I had a bad weekend myself I had that scope ran down my throat on Friday and that was no fun my throat was so soar and I have not be able to eat much at all. Well we are gettting ready to leave for the Mountains on Friday I can not wait to leave. It will be nice to get away for alittle while even if it is just a couple of days. We are leaving Friday coming back Sunday and staying in a cabin close to Dollywood. We will not be here for Rachel 18th birthday but she knows we love her very much and wish her a very Happy Birthday. It is hard to belive she is 18 years old and finishing the 12th grade this year. Time goes by to fast these days! Well Joe will be 24 on the 6th of this month now that is hard for me to belive. It was just 24 years ago we were waiting on him to come in the world. He weighed only 4lb when he was born now look at him you would not belive that he was so little. Now he is grown up and EMT,fireman and loves what he does all we need now is for him to find a woman he can love for the rest of his life. We all love him so much he became know as JO JO when Alissa was little and he still gets called that alot. He loves to pick on his Mom and play his game station he trys to play his new game paint ball he does pretty good until he gets hit and then he gets up set. He goes around here sometimes and said I wish I had something good to do. I give him ideas but he does not like them but then that is nothing new with him. Well I need to go and make some phone calls and work in the house a little bit. Take care and May God Bless ROLL TIDE ROLLTIDE .

We had a great Trick Trunk at Church last night all the kids and adults as well has a good time. The food was great as well we have some great cooks at our church. There is always something new to try and that is what makes it so good. This year we had two little new baby pumpkins at the Trick Trunk.
