So Great and Wonderful News

Well this one will not be long at all I have some great news to share with everyone. Kent and I are going to be grand-parents again. We found out tonight when we went out to eat with April and them. Alissa came through door and said Nana look at my test that I have. So I took the paper from her and looked at it and she did not give me time to read the paper. She said Nana I am getting a brother,sister for Christmas. I said you are I am so happy that I am going to be Nana again. April sat down I gave her a hug and she said she had took a test at home and she did not belive it. So today at work she went and had blood work done and it confirmed the news for her. She does not know now far along she is so I think she has a Dr's appt. next week to find out when for sure. Alissa had to call Ben and Joe to tell them and they were happy to. April called Robin she called me and said your going to be Nana again. I am so happy that we will have another baby around to hug and spoil again. If it is Christmas I know where I am going to spend my Christmas at. So I just had to spread the good news,this is just what we needed. I just had to start getting the news out to everyone.

Today Was a Great Day

Well our family could have not ask for a better day. We went to the Dr with Robin today and we got good news from the MRI. Her blood work was good to it always has been through out the process. But Robin will have to go back in a month for another MRI and more blood work,she will have to cemo in a pill form for a week and then she is off of it goes back in four weeks for another MRI. They will check her again and this will tell them for sure if everything is the way they want it to be. The Dr. did say that they had two other people they had to do like this and everything turned out fine all the way around for them. But in the mean time we can think good thoughts. We are so thankfull,happy that everything turned out good for her. So now we have to 4 weeks to weight on another MRI,then she has to go back to the Dr's again. But right now we will take the good news and not think about the other MRI until that point in time. Mom was not sure about things but then that is just the way my Mom is sometimes. Robin would like to say BIG THANKS for all the prayer's that was said for her. Things could not have turned any better then they did for her and the whole family. I guess all of us will think about the other MRI when it comes in four weeks right now we are going to enjoy the good news we got today.

We are Back

Well we are back and our kids did well on the awards this is what it is all about the kids winning plus learning more about God. There was a lot of walking to do from one area to another but that is another part of being at Convetion if you go you will always do some walking. The rooms we had were nice they had new beds in the rooms and the beds were king. Kent and I were ok with that but everyone else had to get a roll away bed for someone to sleep on. We did not have any room with two queen beds in them. Next to our room some group used it as a break room where they could come and eat that room was always smelling good. On Friday we wore our church shrits and so did everyone else. On Friday night Landon and Thomas brought the Banner in Friday night and so did the other Churches. We had so much fun when all of that took place you could yell,scream and clap for you church banner. Once that is done they start with art,poster,photo,media. We had several that won in these areas and we cheered them on. Then on Sat was when all the song leading,speech,Bible and other events took place we had several kids to when in these areas. This is the night that everyone is very tired because we have been so busy all day long. Today we got up and went to church before we pack to get ready to leave. They also had adution for Nahivlle Star this weekend this like American Idle except it is the country version. So we seen a lot of people walking around in boots and holding a guitar,the way some were dressed was hard to belive. We saw a girl that had blonde hair she was dressed in black long pants and a top that tied around her neck and back it was low cut in the front. She look so out of place their, because everyone else was dress so nice and neat. I did not want to come home when you are away time goes by to fast. But I guess all good things have to come to an end, then you have to come back to reality. Please keep my sis in your prayers she gets the results of her MRI on the 27th next week. We Are in Nashville

Well everyone got here safe and sound we went to the mall when we got here Thursday. We stayed at the Mall until our rooms were ready. It is nice to go to the Mall but you can only do so much in the Mall. There is a lot of people here at the hotel beside all of us they are trying out to Nashville Star. So this place is buzzing with all kind of people. We seen this one girl that looked out of place,her dress was very eye catching. She had blonde hair it was put up,dressed in this black outfit that looked like it was for a street walker. She got a lot of looks from everyone when she walked by. Next door to our room one group rented a room to sever food to the ones they were with. So that room stay's busy most all the time the kids are very noisey as usually but when they get through it does get quite. Well the rooms were a big goof this year a lot of the people ended up with a king size bed in the room for the whole family and that has never happened before. So they had to bring in some cots for the family's that needed them. All the art work,scrapbooks,photo got turned in today. Today not much is going on it will be Saturday when the cmpention starts up. Today the kids can get all the engery out and be ready at 8:00 to get started for the day. Little This and That 3 More Days Until We Leave

Well today I called the Dr to get something for my cold because it is not getting any better. Last night Kent told me he did not care how I was he we had to go to Conv. I for one would not miss going any how. I have a feeling I wll get some get medicine because I always do. I have a bad cough it is worse at night when I lay down but that is the way it goes. I have already got some things pack for Conv. I have had them pack since last week. The only thing I have left is packing clothes. That will not take me long once I get started,Kent thinks I am a fast packer. I can be when I want to go out of town. I love getting away for awhile and leaving things behind it sure does make it nice. Kent and I enjoy going watching the kids we have some great kids and they do so well with things. I think it is good for them I wish we would have had this program when my kids were younger it helps in so many ways. It teach them how to speak ,sing,debt and many other things that they might need in the furture. On the night that the kids walk in with the banners from there churches it is something else you can just feel the happiness and loundness in the air. Everyone is yelling for there church and the kids hold the banner even higher and higher you can just see the eyes sparkling from the stage. Even the adults laughter and smileing and yelling for them. The art work,group scrapbook, speech,song leading is a great and wonderfull work for young kids. When you judge things it is so much fun to hear young people talk and sing. Our kids work so hard during the year and it is worth it all because in the end you can see it all come out at the Convention. The other night at Mary Mary party Addie sat down beside me and said Ms Phyllis will you listen to me sing my song and I did she sang God is So God and she did a great job and just to think in the up coming years she has such a great furture ahead of her. Addie is a sweet little girl and she has a great family and Grand-parents also. She also told me that she would start to kindergarden in 5 months,she showed me where she had lost two teeth. I love little things like this about kids they are so smart. Alissa will soon be nine that is hard for me to belive I remember when she would chace after Emily all the time. Then I remeber when Addie would do Alissa like that. Addie will sometime ask me where is Alissa? Well the kids have to grow up but sometimes I wish they could stay little because of this big old bad world that they have to deal with. Last Night Was Fun\This One For You Mary

Well last night was so much fun we need to get together more often.Last night we gave Mary Mary a party and it was a lot of fun. Becky left her house to go and get Mary while we waited at her house for them to return. When Becky got close to her house she called Rachel and said would you bring me two bottles of water and some medicine for her head and meet her outside. So when Rachel got off the phone with Becky we all went outside and waited on them to come around the corner. When they came around the corner and pullled in the drive way the look on Mary Mary face was worth a thousand words. Because she could not belive what she was seeing. She got out and said this is for me I can not belive this is for me. We went in the house she saw the food and said this is for me and someone said there is gifts to she said all this is for me. She said I have such good friends and she would not know what to do without us. We did this for Mary because we love her and will miss her next week when we are at Nashville and she is not their. Mary is a great person who needs a liver real bad and I wish it would come her way real soon. After we ate she opend her gifts and she got some real nice things that she will need for her long stay in the hospital. She even got a colors and coloring book,puzzle book,candy,PJ' and other things. The food was great as always we have good cooks, Rachel made the cake it was very good to. I have a daughter-in-law that is a wonderful cake artist that is a good name for that I think. We all had a great time I would love to do this more often because I think it is real important for us to do things like this. I enjoy the good Christian company and talking,laughter time we have to share together. Mary Mary is going to be fine I can not wait until it is all over for her so her life can get back to normal for her. She is a great person and friend even when she does call me Sally I still answer her when she does that. You have great kids and a great Husband in your life and I know that everything is going to turn out OK with God's Help. WE ALL YOU MUCH! We will all be around for you through it all and when you come home and need help we all can be there for you.

Today is a Better Day\ Watch What I Say

Dad is at Day Care so that is great for me and Mom. I went to the bank and then to Walmart all by myself which is not often that I get to go to Walmart without my parents. But today was different and I enjoyed it. I got some things to go to Nashville with. So that makes me happy just thinking about it. The only thing was my Van started acting up and I had to call Kent and he came to Walmart and took my van and I drove the truck home. When I got home Kent was here and I got him to get the stuff out of the truck before he went back to work. So that helped me out a bunch. Then I talked to my sweet daughter whom I needed to say I am sorry for bring up something I should have not done. Sometimes I get to rambling and don't realize what I have said or wrote until I have said it. I need to watch my writing and my mouth because some things just do not need to be said again. Well enough about that before I go to far again. I love all my kids with all my heart. I have a great grandaughter whom I love very much and know that we will have more in the furture they will be loved just as much. Grandkids are very special little ones they brighten up your life so much. I can see that in the eyes of everyone that has grand kids. With the grandkids you let them get away with more then your own kids did with in reason of course. I don't like to spank are get on th them at all but you have to let them know sometimes who the boss is. Alissa just about gets away with anything most of the time all I have to do is just get own to her and she minds me. It is hard for me to belive that she will be nine years old next month. Nine years has gone by to fast I still remmember when she called me Nana and said I love you. Then I remmember when she started kindergarden it seems like only yesterday. Well my extra special moment was when she called Kent Papa which was what the kids called Kent's Dad and that is a special name to be called. That Man was a special person to everyone. I wish that everyone could have met that man. Well enough of the memories for right now next month is when I need to do this with Alissa's Birthday in mind. Well take care and May God Bless All.

My Day on Tuesday

Well Tuesday I got up and took my Dad to Day Care like always he is sick but he still wanted to go to Dad Care and that was great. Because my brother was not feeling well either, so that made it hard on my Mom. After I got back from Day Care I started feeling bad I was dizzy,had a headache and then I took my blood pressure and it was 155 over 87 so I went to the fire station and it was up to two hundred and two by the time they took it. They took it about 20 minutes later and it was 175 over 87 so I ended up going to the ER they started and IV,oxygen, and on the way over to the St. Vincent it went down low. So I got over there and Iwas feeling worse my head was killing me and my chest was hurting me some,I was also sick at my stomach. So they got me all hooked up to the montors,drew blood work,x-ray,CT scan. Then I got two shots for headache and sick stomack. Then they finally came in the room and told me everything was fine expect for my blood pressure so they gave me some more of my blood pressure med and it finally got better so they let me come home. Well Thursday I have to go to my Dr. and get some more blood work done and my blood pressure checked again. I have to deal with my Dad so I have to be carefull Thursday that I don't let things get to me again. I know also the fact that Robin called me and told me she had to go to the Dr fast the day before did not help me either so I think things went down hill from that point because that was on Monday. Today she had to go to the Dr again but I did not take her because of the stress it would put on me again today and I needed to rest after yesterday. But I have not heard from her yet so I wish she would hurry up and call me. Joseph and Kent both have called several times today to make sure I am at home and not out anywhere today. Joe Joe said last night he would take my keys if I did not stay at home he said Mom take care of yourself are you are going to have a stroke are a heart attack. I did not want either of them. My Day Today was Tuff

Well to start out with I had to go get my Mom and Dad out of trouble Dad being like a kid and not wanting to get out of her way. She had to call the Dr about my brother and we had to take him in at ll:00 so she was trying to get a bath but Dad would not stay out of the way for her to get one. By the time we did get him out it was to late then for Mom to take a bath. So I told him to get trash cans out of the way so we could leave when I got back but he did not do that. When I got back to the house Mom and my brother were coming out of the house and Dad was on his way out. So I made him move the trash cans out of the way I opened the gate and Mom shut the gate then we left. We got to the Dr,Dad and I parked the car and walked back to the Dr office all he could do was spit so I had to get on to him I know you have to spit he just does it anywhere. So I had to watch him and make sure he spit on the grass and not the side walk. When we got up to the Dr office Mom did not have to sit long thank goodness for small favors. I had to take Dad to the bathroom he kept sneezing and coughing he is sick to he goes to the Dr Thursday with me. I have to have a blood fasting and blood pressure checked the time we have to be there is nine thirty because of me and the blood work. So by the time I deal with him my blood pressure will be real good. Because today when I got home it was 149 0ver 77 which is to high for me. But going what I went through today beside my Mom and Dad was Robin called she had another seizure so she called me I had to get April to take her to the Dr and when I got home with Mom and them I left,ate then went to let April go back to work for the rest of the day. After we left the Dr Robin wanted to get Bill somethings for his B-day this week so we did that and then we went to her house. When I got to her house Bill was asleep because he was sick and we opened the door to Trey's I was shooked because Trey and his new girlfriend was asleep in his bedroom on the bed. The girl raised up and she was clothed and but Trey had his shirt off. I thought to myself this is not right it is all wrong this is where it all starts. But when you have been there once it makes you think about alot of things. But I my way home Robin called and I have to take her to the Dr again because of her seizure med the level is to high. She has her MRI done on the 21st so please keep me and my family in your prayers on this day that everything will be OK for her. May God Bless All, I also have a Great and Wonderful Husband whom I Love Very Much I would not kno What to do Without Him.

Pround Great Aunt Again Some Pictures Too

He is so cute the name is Anthony Garrison Bradford he weighted 7lbs 4oz 191/2 inches long. He has black hair and dark eyes. Caisse will say this is baby and that is about it. Then she will look at Gayla's tummy hunting for the baby. Cassie and Keith went to say with someone for a couple of days. I told Gayla to get all the rest she can while in the hospital because I have a feeling when she gets home she will not get much. Then she told me that Cassie still wakes up at night to so she will have her hands full when they all get home together. She still has two in diapers and that is not good I would have had Ms Cassie out of diapers. But she did not I guess some are ok with that. Emily and Becky were up at the hospital to when we were there and Emily did not want to leave the baby. April,Jason and Alissa went up to see the baby last night and Alissa said he was so cute Nana I told her she would make a good big sister when she got a new brother are sister. She love this little girl at her church Aubrey and she has black hair to and she is as sweet as she can be she does not cry when a stranger holds her either. Well after seeing the new baby we went by Cingular and Kent go my phone which was black and orange I got me a pink phone that is what I wanted to begin with. My Day Went Well Feeling Better/Gayla's Baby Here

Well last night we got a call from Kevin and he told us Gayal was in the hospital that her water broke. I got so excited because I was going to be a great Aunt again I wanted to go up to the hospital but I did not feel like going and Kent had to go to work.,so we did not go. But this morning I had to go and get my block in my neck to help me feel better. I feel real sleepy because they gave me a pain shot,bendryal for itching plus I was put to sleep,so all combined I just feel so bad right now. It will take me a couple of days to get over the shot and begin put to sleep. When we got back home Kent went to work and I went to bed and sleep for awhile. Then I get a call from Tim later after lunch and he said he was here that Andrew weighed 6lb and 7oz. I ask about the lenght and how much hair who he looked like and he had not seen him yet. I hope I get to see him Friday night I can not belive I am a great aunt again. If only they lived closer that would be nice I could see them a lot. My Mom is feeling better today she had to go off and had to take my Dad with her he always wants to tell you how to drive. Well we are watching CSI now and I love this show it is a good show to watch. Jo Jo is at school right now and it is quite right now around here. The dog is asleep on the couch which this is her thing most of the time OH she does eat. Well all take care and May God Bless Everyone.

Changed My Name Title My Background

Well I changed my name and background it is so pretty Kent has work very hard on this. I wanted something a little brighter. The bears were to light and we could not find away to make it bighter. I changed my name also to what Alissa calls her Nana a lot when I do get kinda silly with her. But Alissa still loves her Nana no matter how silly are Goofy I might be that is just me what can I say. I had rather be silly then an old grouch all the time are not laugh a little are in my case I like to laugh a lot. Today is a good day for me and my Mom Dad is at Day Care today and Wed. Jo Jo is at work today he had a big test last night but he does not know what he made yet but he has made good grades so far. Kent is hard at work as always and he also works at home helping in the afternoon since I have not been feeling good. He cooks supper and that helps me a lot at night. When he gets off from work he goes by and gets Dad from day care so I don't have to go and get him. My Mom is sick with her sinus she got some medicine yesterday when we took my brother back for his check up. Today I don't feel good I have a headache I think that is coming from my neck problem Thursday I am getting a shot so maybe that will help my headache. Well Today What Ever Day/JoJo and his Accident

Well today we got up and ate breakfast talked about what we were going to do after wards. We went and got Kent a new toy that is a new mower I was not going to say anything about it I was going to let him talk first. When men get something new they want to talk about it before a woman does because we usually don't know what we are talking about when it comes to a lawn mower and I dont know anything about them other then where the gas goes and how to start one. I like this one because I can drive the lawn mower myself and that makes it nice. How often this will happen I do not know. It is a nice mower you can let the seat forward for short people to drive and that makes it nice for me when I drive it. Well speaking of driving I did get to drive the lawn mower until Jo JO came in and he wanted to drive so I let him drive. But it does make it nice to have one that will drive all the time now. Well JO JO had a date tonight with a girl he went to High School with he met her at Bevill last week at school one night. But he is not to sure about her at all. Well the week before he had a wreck while he was driving a patient to the hospital the person that hit him thought he could out run him but instead they hit. But everybody was alright thank goodness. So he had to work last week in Pelly City for two days and today he worked in Hoover. Maybe this week he will be back at Jasper to work. He had to go to driving school again and then he ended in these other station as part of his accident because it was his fault. They don't always have the right away when driving but still it don't make since to me since they have all the lights on and horns blowing. Well Alissa is sick with strip throat this weekend so she did not get to stay the night with us. Well I can not wait until tommorrow because we will be working on things for Nashivlle. I am getting tired and I am going to bed now see everyone Sunday May God Bless.
