Around My Place Today 9-28-07

Well today I did not have to take Dad to Day Care so that was good for me because sometimes it is hard for me to get up with my leg's. Robin call about 9:30 and got me up out of bed not just me but Cookie to. She look at me with this look on her face as if who is that calling and getting us up out of bed. But then she just layed back down and went to sleep while I talked with Robin. She was telling me that he right hand was moving better and she was going to the football game tonight and watch Chace play. Then I called Mom to see what she wanted to do and she said her leg's were hurting to much to do anything today. Then she told me Dad had not taken his Med's yet and it was 11:00. So before I could leave I had to go up the street and get him to take his Med's. He came in and took his Med's and I told him you better be ready when I get back to go to the Dr at 2:15 and he better be ready to. So I left and went to Walmart and the Dollar General before we went left for the Dr. We went to the Dr and he got a good report until I told on him. Then Dad did not like me telling on him. I told the Dr. that he would not do anyting but sit around and sleep. The Dr told him he better keep his self busy because he needed to excerise so arthur would not get him down. Also so his lung's would stay healthy and keep working for him. Then I told him that he wanted to die and just leave this old world. He told him that he was in church last Sunday. The peacher ask them who want's to go to heaven and everyone raised there hand's but one man. The peacher ask the man do you want to go to heaven and said yes but not right now. Well we left on that one and April called me and said she was bring Alissa to the house. So when I got home Alissa was right behind me and she gave me a big hug. Well for supper we ask her what she wanted. Alissa said I want egg's,bacon,corn and mashed potatoe's. Well Kent made the egg's,corn,bacon and toast but no mashed potatoe's. Well that was another wackey supper for us. Well Alissa is watching cartoons,Kent is down stair's,Joe is at work and well I am doing my thing. Well everyone take care see you Sunday.

Busy Day 9-24-07

Well today is going to be busy as always. First I have to take Dad to Day Care, I was going to get Joe to take him but he went off with Josh. They went to a hunting lodge to see if they could see anything today I guess. But it is getting that time of the year when men like to get out an hunt those poor litttle deer. I wish Joe could kill one it would make him so happy when he comes home I have to listen to the one's that got away. Josh has killed several that I know of so I know he can hunt. I don't like the meat it is to wild tasting for me. Well after I take Dad to his fun place. I have to head to Blount County to spend sometime with Robin today because the rest of the week I will be busy with Dr appt's and doing thing's around the house. This is the last week that my Dad can spend all week until we can get a grant for him. But he will be going some but not as much. When he is not there you never know what will happen at my Mom's I just am always on guard for what ever. At least I know what Kent will fix for supper and it won't be spam either. We are having some rib's tonight and that will be good and I can not wait to eat some of them. Well this weekend was not a good weekend for Alabama they did not win I don't what happened but they were lost somewhere in the clouds are at least that is what I think. Well at least for those tiger's they did finally get a win in their pocket. This weekend Alabama play's Florida St and Tiger's play Florida I guess we will just have to wait and see on these game's. I am not sure about either team this weekend. Of course I want Alabama to win Roll Tide Roll. Well everyone have a nice day and you who have to work don't work to hard.

You Never Know How Thing's Will Be Sometime's

Wedensday 9-19-07 Well to start with my Dad and I had an appt. on Tuesday and I was the one that made my appt and he did not. I talked to him the night before and told him to get his bath and be ready when I got to the house. He told me that he would be ready to go but when I got up there on Tuesday he was not ready. He had not ate breakfast,no Medicine. So I told him I could no longer wait on him so I left him behind. He told me well I should just die and get out of this old world and you all would not hve to take care of me. I ask him why would you say that he said well there would just not be any more trouble over me. Well I said I am gone see you later because Mom has to go to Dr and you are going along. So I went to the Dr and came back and he had gave Mom trouble while I was gone. But we made it to the Dr and back. Well today Dad went to see Dr Jetty and it was not good he is getting worse and that is not good at all. He just sit's and look's into outspace like he is not in this world. He does not talk and he does not do anything at all. So it is hard on my Mom and I don't know how much longer she is going to be able to do this. She has my brother to take care and herself. When it come's to bath time for Dad sometime's all she has to do is tell him she is going to call me and he will get his bath. But sometimes that don't work and I have to go up to the house and make him get in the tub. Then he get's mad at me and say's who told you to come up here. But on a good note Robin is coming home on Friday and she can not wait to get home. She can move her finger's some so this is good. They will be doing PT at her house for awhile, Then she will have to come back and forth to lakeshore for out patient PT. Well my pup is laying beside me asleep but when I move she will move. Cookie is just like a kid she is always under my feet sometime's I have came close to falling over her just to get to the Phone. Well this weekend there will be another game and I can not wait so I guess it will Roll Tide and well what about those Tiger's will they win? I guess we will see.

My Day

This is a day to remmeber it is 9-11 does anyone know what they were doing on this day? I know what I was doing, Alissa and I was still asleep the phone rang and it was Ben. He said Mom turn on the TV and see what is going on. I did and it was hard to see the tower's going down and all those people that were going down with the tower's. It brought tear's to my eye's to see all the people running and trying to get away from all the action that was going on. Who would have ever thought that something like this would happen in the US. You just never know what is going to happen in this cazy world we live in. I will be happy when they let our guy's come home for good because they do not seem to want our help in peace at all. Well Joe and I are going to see my sister today at lakeshore she want's to come home so bad she call's alot she is so lonley. Bill work's for UPS so he is on the road until Thursday I belive so she is getting tired of the place fast. So we are taking her some watermelon and some other thing's since she can eat regular food now. She is able to move her elbow and her shoulder, her talk is much better and she is getting some movement in her finger's. We went to see her Sunday and she was setting outside with her husband and her kid's so that was a big break for her to get to see the outside and not four wall's. She just called me and told me she can get a pass out this weekend and she want's me to come and get her and take her some where then I have to take her back. She want's me to help her when she get's home but I don't know how I am going to do that yet. Well I am ready for the next game I hope Alabama win's again. Brother's Birthday and Update on Robin

Yesterday was my brother's birthday he had a great day. He got lots of birthday card's and present's which he love's. My brother-in-law brought supper over and Mom made him a bannana pudding this is his favorite dessert that he like's to eat instead of cake. He love fish and this what my brother-in-law brought over. This is the first time they have ate with them in a year I guess this is good but my sister still has a lot to say to my Mom that she has not yet said. But I guess this is a start. She has talked to Robin also to this is good but they still have alot to talk about to. Robin is at Lakeshore Rehab in room 114-B and she would love to have visit the hour's are from four oclock to eight oclock in the evening through the week and on Sunday all day. Card's would be nice to and a call just ask for the room number. Today is Kent's B-day he is 54 and he is outside working on the house. He went over to see his Mom and she is not doing well she is not eating good or drinking good. But this will get better she has done this before. Joe is pulling another all night shift today. He will be home in the morning in time for Church, he is working out of the office at SS so this is good. Well my Team won again so Roll Tide the win is what count's after all so keep Rolling along Bama.

Up Date on Sister

Well we got good new's yesterday she did not have a stroke they don't know what happened. They said sometime's it is hard to say what happened when something like this goes wrong. So she will be leaving Friday for lakeshore Rehab where she will be their from 3 week's to a month. She still has no use in her right had and from her right elbow down. She does have feeling in it though. But she has a long way to go the Dr said. I am home today the first time I have been home all day in six day's. It sure does feel good, Bill called and wanted someone to come back up today and I sent Joe up to set today. I was just to tired to go back up and set another day. My Mom got sick on Tuesday and no one was here at the house Joe called his Dad and he had to go and check on her. Her blood sugar and blood pressure was high. She went to the Dr Wed and he had to change her med's she feel's some better today. Dad is at Day Care and that make's the day a real good day. So we all can rest good today he will be at Day Care Friday also. That help's out a great deal. Well everyone take care I have some thing's to do so I guess I better get busy. My Sister

Today was a pretty good day for my sister. I went up to hospital today and they did an EEG on her today and her brain waves were all fine. They made her walk today this is good,she had PT in her arm and hand today. She had a speech Therapist to come by today also. She is going to have an Artri Gram of her head Wed. this is where they put the die in your head and this will tell them what happened what is going on now. If everything come's out ok she will go to lakeshore rehb. for several week's for PT before going home. Because they will work there with more with her arm and her speech. Her speech is better than what it has been for the past 3 day's. But she still has a long way to go. She is in room 675 at St. Vincent Hospital. Please keep us in your prayer's. She want's me back up their in the morning because she does not want me to leave so I hope Wed. is the last day I have to go and stay with her. She say's I am her older sister and I have to keep her straight and make her laugh. Well I am going to stop and go get a bath and try to get in bed before to late.

My Sister and The Day Going So Far

Chase which is my sister son called me this morning and said Robin had a pretty good night. She is still having headache's and they made her walk this morning. She has some movement in her right arm and hand you can see the nerve's moving in her arm and hand so this is a good sign that thing's are starting to get some better. She still has a long way to go. She is not eating much at all she is starting do drink a little. Well I had company last night the girl's stayed all night with me and that is helping me to try and think about something else. Just looking at the smiling face's help me alot. Kent and Joe are working in the yard Alissa and Emily are helping them to. Well later we are going to grill out and April,Jason are coming over to eat with us. I will be happy when thing's get better and Robin is back at home with her family. Well everyone take care and have a nice day and don't eat to much B'Q today. Oh I just have to say one thing about the game Saturday the Tiger's looked like Alabama when they played some of there game's last year pulling it off at the last few minute's of the game. But they won so I guess that what count's to be honest I wanted them to loose but that is a Bama fan for you. HA! HA!

Update On My Sister

Well we went back to this hospital this afternoon at 3:00 to check on my sister Robin. We got home this morning at 2:00. She is the same her condition has not changed. They did and MRI today and could not find anything that showed up on the MRI. Then the Dr told Bill again that he thought that she had a stroke. But there is still some bleeding coming from somewhere in her brain and that she has swelling on her brain also. So they are going to have to do something we just don't know what at this time. We all just want some answer's amd to tell us what is going to be done. She has no feeling in the right side of her face and the right arm. So the bleeding is coming from the left side. Today my family was together for the first time in a year. The only niece that was not at the hospital was Angie and her kid's. Of course Joe was at work and Ben is out of town and Alissa had company and in the pool. But they checked in with me and Kent every so often. But you could tell that thing's were not right. It was still good to see them all because I am so tired of all this mess that is going on in our family. It should not be this way at all because everyone need's to be on the same page. This is all so hard for me to understand and live with. But I just do what I can and what I am ask to do. So everyone please pray for me and my family as we go through this ruff time. Oh my brother went back to see Robin and he had to touch her hand and that was so heart warming because he does not under stand anything that is going on he know's she is sick though and that is what count's. My Dad went back and he said don't give up fight you can do it don't let it beat you. Mom told her I did it and you can to. So please keep us all in your prayer's.
