A little Something From Alissa

She had to write a story about a sport she like to do which was Softball. She had to make a table of contents and she had to write something about herself. Then a short story about the sport and why she like it. This is just a couple of things that was in the short little story that she wrote. What she wrote was funny because she is still learning how to spell words. Which I am not the greatest speller in the world. Well here we go I hope you enjoy this little bit of cheer from her.
The First One is called Just A Kid Sometimes I feel like a softball hard and mean. Sometimes I feel like a coch(Coach) feels in charg(charge) and in place. Sometimes I feel like the coke sweet and good. And last but not least I feel like a kid. The second part I like was this one The Dug out Softball is a game for girls onley(only) exsept(expect) for coches(coaches). If your a boy and play softball. Us girls will chase you out. And if your cute well (will) tackle you down and keep you for bait. I hope you all enjoy these little saying that she did all on her own we are so proud of her and she is growing up so fast because next year she will be in the 4th grade which is hard to think about. She will be a big sis soon and she is very happy about that she said if it is a boy she is going to call him stinkey. Joseph told her that he will call her stinker if it was a boy. I Have Been Busy The Past Two Weeks

The past 2 weeks have been so busy for me and next week will be busy to. Well last week we went to T'Hill and that was so much fun the place was pack with people. I have never seen it so full like this and I have been their a lot. Kids were every where down their and riding bikes all over the place. One day I was driving up to the bathroom and one little boy just pulled over in front of me and I almost hit him. I have never been so mad at a child he needed adult supervison with which he did not have. Kevin,Gayla,Keith and the kids were there also and we grilled out together and we enjoyed our time together because we do not see them that much. Alissa,Emily was with us as always which we love having them very much and they road bikes all the time. On Sat. April,Jason,Myra,Tim,Gayla,Kevin we all got together and grilled chicken. We had a lot of fun doing this together and watching the kids play. Well we came home on Monday and Kent got ready to go to Mississippi and work then I came to Aprils house to keep Alissa at home for the week it is so peaceful around here. When we got home we found out that our neighbor had pass away she had lung cancer she had been in bad shape for weeks now. I went in the house to see her daughter and she was in the room with her Mom and I wish I had not walk in the room. She was in bad shape she had lost a lot of weight and did not look like the person I new. I would like for everyone to keep the Snider family in you prayer while they go through this. Thursday night Robins son Trey will finish school and we will go to his graduation and his party so this will be a night to remmeber. Well take care everyone and May God Bless.

News Today

April called me today and said that she went to the Dr and they listen to the babies heart beat and they told her that it sounded like a little boy's heart beat. But I told her that the ultra sound they do in 8 weeks will tell the even better. I don't know what Alissa thought about all of this I have not had a chance to talk with her. But I don't care what it is so long as it is healthy I will take what the Lord bless us with. She needs one of each anyhow that is the best way to do it. I will just be happy when the baby gets here so I will have another one to love and spoil. Today was a busy day for me I had to take Mom and Dad to the Dr they had to go and see the skin Dr today. Mom had two moles took off and Dad had two took off, they will get the results in a couple of days. Well were are going camping Thursday and we will be back on Monday then Kent and I are going to Mississippi he has to work and I am going to just have fun. We are coming back in on Thursday for Trey, graduation. When I was at Hills today I seen Zander and his GrandDad their and he said I go to church with you don't I and I said yes you do. He is too cute of a little boy I love watching him play and talk just like all the other kids at church. Well everyone take care and May God Bless All see you at Church.

My Trip and My Day Today

Well the trip I took was to short and not long enough because it was to busy for me. When we got to Tennessee we had to wait on our room for awhile so my sis had to go to work. That left me having to go to the mall and look around for awhile,because my sis had to go to work. She work until 12:30 Friday night I fell asleep on the couch she had to call me on my cell so she could get in the room. Then she was so keyed up that we talk for awhile and before we new it she had to she had to get up and go back into work. So sleep I did not get because it was to busy for me and I not use to this busy. Then when I did get up out of the bed I found out that I was going to have to leave the hotel when she did so I end up eating breakfast and going back to the shopping mall and was at the mall until 2:oo and I got so tired because you could not sit down anywhere at this mall I even went to Lowes which was close by and look around. Well when she pick me up we went to eat and then left to come home. We had a nice trip there and back but it was just to much for me. Then yesterday whe I got up I could not hardly move I was so sore all over and my back legs just did not want to move. But I was happy I got to feeling better because last night who would have thought that Emily would have came forward and ask to be baptized. This was the greatest night I have had in a long time. To see someone that has grown in so many ways from a little girl to almost a teen and I know that is next year. She is such a sweetheart to me I think of her as a daughter she is special to me in so many ways I can not name them all. I was talking with her on Sat and it is hard for me to belive she is twelve years old, and going to be in the 7th grade next year. But Sunday night makes Emily's life complete it is a big part of her furture. I know that her Grandmother and Papa would have been so proud of her because that love all there grandkids so much and always proud of everyone of them. Well then we hear later that Shayla was baptizied to at the sametime so this was a great night of great blessing for both familes. Then today around my block they had to take two of the older ladies on my block to the hospital one with chest pains and the other passed out. Their is one lady that lives beside me that has two weeks to live she has lung cancer real bad. Her daughter told me her lungs were 40% full of fluide and she is on oxygen. We need to keep the family in our prayers. Well today I have to go up the street and help Mom with my Dad he has not bath are wash his hair since I was gone. I told her today she was going to have to do something this can not go on for much longer we are not going to make it ourselves. My Day\My Trip Out of TOWN Can NOT WAIT

Today was a good day I took Dad to Day Care and Mom,myself had a great day. I went by Fred's on my way home and looked around. Then I came home for awhile left after lunch went to April house and wanted on Alissa to come home. Boy they live in a very quite area of town you can only hear the birds and dogs when they barked not often did they bark. I went out on the front poarch and watch Alissa come in on the school bus. When she came up on the bus she was so happy to see me at her house. We stayed out on the poarch for a while a talk about her day and then we came in the house. She watch TV for short time then we went outside again she got in her pool. I told her it was to cold but she said it is not to cold I have already been getting in. So she got in and played for awhile then she got out and jumped on the Trampline and I sat on it while she jumped on it. It was so funny watching her jump with me on sitting on it. Then April came in and I had to leave but I did not want to leave but I had to. I told everyone bye and gave a hug and April said have a good trip. So I am going out of town with my sister to Tennesse over the weekend she has to work and I am going to shop around while she is at work. Melissa got a new ride and we are going to take her new ride and I can not wait to go with her. Everyone knows me I love to travel and leave town anytime I can. It is nice to get away from things sometimes I know things will still be here but I do get away from it for a couple of days and that is nice. Well everyone take care and May God Bless all.

Mother's Day 2008

Well I had a great Mother's Day also I have great kids whom I love very much and I could have not ask for better kids and loving kids. Every family has there good times and bad but the good always out the bad ones. I also have a very loving grand-daughter,son Jason and daughter-in-law Rachel. Both of these come from great families also their parents did a great job with them in teaching them how to love and take care of their family. I love my family so much if they only new how much I love them. Well my Hubby is a wonderful and loving husband I could not ask for a more loving husband he came from a wonderful family as we all know. Well we went to eat and the kids gave me there gifts. April,Jason and Alissa gave me a Lowes gift card and Joseph gave me a Home Depot gift card and I can not wait to use the gift cards. Kent said you know that use to you could not get a woman to go in these kind of stores and now women love the stores just as much as men do. Boy I sure do like going I always find something I want are need. Well Ben was sick Sunday so he brought what him and Rachel got me last night. This was to cute and boy did I like it. They gave me a bird house to take with me when we go camping it is shaped like a little trailer that you pull. I just love it I have never seen one like it they said that it fit me just right out camping like we do. Well lets this was one of the Best Mothers Day I have ever had. Well in Dec we will add another grand child to this family to be loved and spoiled very much. Well I have a rug at my house that suities all grand parents April and them got it at Tannehill from Trade Day It Says NANA AND PAPA'S

Our Students Who Finsihed School

Well it is hard for me to believe that Rachel and Jazz have finished High School it. It seems like yesterday and they were so little and could not speak are anything and now they are out of school and onto another step into life. I remmeber when Rachel was born it seems like yesterday when she was running around dressing up in dress up clothes. She was so cute and chubby which I think was oh so cute she also had this cute little smile which would get you every time. I took her on her first trip to ICYC she stayed with me and the older girls she enjoyed that very much. I let her get as dirty as she wanted I know Becky came to see about her at camp one day and boy was Rachel dirty. Becky said when you get home those things will have to go in the trash because they are just to dirty to wear any more. She also went camping with my family and I she enjoyed camping so much. I miss her going with us but I know she is all grown up now and she will be going to college to be a nurse and I know she will make a good one because she cares for people in the way you need to in order to be a nurse it takes a lot to be a nurse. Well she is a very special person to us and she will always be special to us. We love and think of Rachel as our on daughter because she spent a lot of time with us. Oh Stephen I do not want to leave out you better treat Rachel good are you will have to answer to ME. I know you will Stephen I was just kidding of course. Well then there is this young lady that I like to call Jazz and she is just as sweet and loving as she can be. I won't forget the first day I saw her with all the curls in her hair I always thought man I wish I had some of those curls. Because my hair has always been straight,she has a very pretty smile,and a very pretty young lady. I know one time at camp I remmeber her and Alex buring a lizzard that he had caught they even made a little grave for it. Jazz has a great smile and I know she will go far in life no matter what she does in the future. She has a great boy friend name Zack and he better treat her right are he will answer to her other Mom Me. I know Zack will treat Jazz right to. Well we come to Joseph Glenn I have not know you long but I feel like I have. You are a great person and know you are going to do good in the furture. I will never forget the first play I seen you in it was so good and I know you knew I was there because of my laughter. But what can I say you made me laugh and you did do a good job in the show. The food was great tonight as always and the people that served did a good job. Rachel cake's were great and I thought the little cakes were neat the kids took those home with them. The movie was great of the three young adults to boy this is hard to say young adults. We all had a great time Thanks to Josh and Katie and everyone else who helped.

Well Today is My 100th Post and My Dr Trip

Well today is my 100th post which I never thought I would to but I did. I guess when you have a lot going on your life it does not take long to do that. If your like and you like to talk a lot about this and that you can do it before you know it. So today I had to go to see the Dr and get the packing out of my nose boy was that a nasty site to see. When it happens right in front of your face it is kind of not hard to miss. That was even bad for Joseph to see he said and I told him I am sure you have seen worse. This so bad it made me sick I thought the nurse was never going to get through pulling it out of my nose. Now my nose is killing me it hurts so bad I can hardly stand my nose on my face. I know it will get better in time I can not wait for it to get all healed up inside and out. It sounds like I have a cold when I talk I guess talk I feel like I have one also. After we got finished at the Dr we had to take the pump to April so she could get the rest of the water out of her pool. When I seen her I told Joe I said look at that pregant lady walking down the side walk. Then Joe goes over to her and bends down and says to her tummy Hey Baby Hey Baby,she said Mom make him stop I told her that he just wanted to say hi to the baby. Joe does that everytime he sees her,I told her well when you had Alissa he was only 16 and did not know as much as he does now. He told her that he hoped he was on rounds at St Vincent when she has the baby and he could help with the delivery. That is if she had to come to the ER first, we will have to wait and see. Well My Surgery\Today And I Feel All Dried Up and Tired

Well Wed was tuff the surgery it self went well and my nose was worse then want he thought it was. So I have been in a lot of pain I have packing in my nose so I have to breath through my mouth and that is hard to do. My mouth gets dry and I have been drinking a lot also a lot of pain medicition because it is bad. I had to sleep in Kents chair because that was the only way I could rest. I would wake up hurting and getting something to drink and then I would watch some TV. Friday I go to the Dr and he is going to take the packing out then the breathing will be much better of for me. Well I was up at six oclock and Joe was going out the door to a real bad accident on 269 this morning and I have not seen him come back in yet. He has been off from work since Tuesday and I think he feels much better. I will be gald when he finds out what he made on his final. I think he pass the test because he doing well so far with school. That is why I spent the day with my girls so I would not have to listen him complain because that is hard for me to do sometimes because I have so many other things going on. Update On The Nana\What I got Today at The Thrift Store

Well today started out at the Dentist for a check up this went well I do not have to go back for six months unless something stats hurting me from my fall. Because the dentist said it could have done some damage to my teeth on top. So I was not happy with that report for the furture. So after that I went to Big Lots,Peebles,then to eat at Subway from their I went to the Mission Thrift Store and found me two skirts and a little fold and play set for the baby to lay in outside and play in. Well from that point on it was on to see the sinus Dr Real he told me my nose was broke and he was going to have to do surgery on it Wed. because if he did it now while it was broke it would not be so bad. So here I go again it seems like I just can not get things fixed until something else happens. But I guess I need to learn how to act 52 instead 8yrs old again but that is hard for me no matter what I am doing. I think April put bad luck out there when she said Mom watch out your going to fall and she had no longer said that until I hit the ground after she had said that only did I hit the ground. Well I am trying to get my hubby to fix supper I don't feel so good but I think he is waiting on me to fix supper but he is going to do it for me. TODAY WAS A BLESSING

Robin got a great report today on her 2nd MRI everything had healed just like they thought from the 1st MRI. So we were so bless today and greatful for everything that took place for her. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts from everyone through out this whole thing. But she has to go back in 3mos for another MRI and to the Dr once a month for a check up also she has to start another round of Cemo for another week are so. So she can go on with her life now and be with us forever. Maybe it was all the healing services she went to are all the Blue Birds she saw. Whatever we will take it all so long as we have her here. She will be here with me to help out as much as possible with Mom and Dad. Tell help me spoil the little one that we have on the way. Well May God Bless All See Everyone Sunday. I am feeling better also I will be happy to get my glasses so I can see better.
